2022 Junior Golf Opportunities
There will be no junior events the week of July 4th!
From the beginning, Cottonwood Hills has been dedicated to the growth of the game. We are interested and invested in junior golf. Two programs that we have developed over the years are Junior Golf and Little Linkers, PGA Junior League and new this year is the Junior Academy.

Junior golfers are extremely important in many ways. For young people this can become a life long sport. As ambassadors of the game it is our duty to pass on the traditions and values that golf provides. Junior golfers are the future of this great game.
​
Our junior golf programs are designed to teach etiquette, fun, patience, honesty, and camaraderie. These are all great skills to have both on and off the course.
​
Join Coach Garret, Coach Vicki, and Coach Cullen for our wide variety of junior programs that are available this year. If you've been in our junior programs before, we can't wait to see you! If this is your first year, welcome, and we are so excited to get to know you and teach you about the game of golf!
Family Fun Day

Friday Junior Practice (NEW!)
​

Every Friday starting June 17th, any junior who shows the pro shop staff a bag tag from one of our junior programs will receive:

A free range token

A practice drill to complete for that day

You must show up before 3PM on Fridays
​

When you complete the drill, bring it to the pro shop and a staff member will sign off and keep it.
​

At the end of the year, whoever practiced the most Fridays will receive a prize!
​

Bag tags will be given out at the first program you attend. Many kids will already have one from last year!
​

Junior Drop In Program
-
These drop in large group lessons are perfect for juniors who would like to give golf a try but aren’t able to commit to the season long academy. No need to RSVP, just show up!
​

This program includes 30 mins. of instruction followed by play on the Par 3 or Championship course for high school.
​

Middle School Golfers || 9:30 AM || Ages 11-13

Check in at the driving range each week to pay. There will be a coach with an iPad!
Junior Academy
-
Designed for beginner and experienced golfers alike.
​

Focus is on the basics of the golf swing and instructor to student ratios of 6 to 1 guarantee personalized attention.
​

Juniors will get to actually "play the game" and learn on our Executive Course.
​

Basic rules & etiquette will also be covered. Clubs are provided for those needing equipment.
​

Each academy will be three weeks long and meet twice a week for a total of six sessions.
​

Max of 12 per academy, $150 per student.​

PGA Junior League

Join Coach Garret and Coach Vicki for weekly practices and tournaments starting in May. This program is great for kids who have golfed before and want to improve their skills in a fun, but competitive environment!

This program is designed for more experienced golfers age 13 and under.

The Cottonwood Cup (NEW!)
(Formerly High School League)

Designed for golfers ages 14-17 who want to play at the high school level and beyond, this summer-long Fedex Cup style competition will help you gain competitive experience.
​

Golfers will play a different game for 18 holes every week.
​
-
Max of 16 players, must sign up by Wednesday @ 5PM each week.
​

The season-long points leader will receive a trophy and $100 in Cottonwood Hills Merchandise Credit!
​

$20 one-time entry fee plus greens fees or membership.
​

Tee times will start at 10:40AM on Thursdays.
